While appreciating the exquisite Piney Beach Cabins (above left), we hope you also noticed the adjacent 1942 concrete arch bridge (left) on the new four-lane. The new bridge was a big improvement over the old bridge in Devil's Elbow (above right). Not only does it carry four lanes of traffic with a larger load capacity, it does not have a height limiting superstructure. |
