Volunteers Wanted
The Old Stagecoach Stop Museum is looking for volunteers! Are you a history or preservation buff? Do you enjoy talking with visitors to our area? Are you looking for a way to get more involved in the Pulaski County community? Are you looking for a project your whole family can enjoy? Do you want to meet new people in the area and enjoy a fellowship with people of similar interests? Do you have a special talent you’d like to share such as quilting, handicrafts, woodworking, gardening, or music? Then come join us! We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities including serving as a tour guide; assisting with the preservation, restoration, and maintenance of the building; assisting with furnishings and collections management; assisting with exhibit development; assisting with the curation of the archaeological collection (and possible excavation opportunities if there is enough interest); computer, clerical and editorial work; planning and assisting with special events; developing and maintaining period gardens and landscaping; and much more. Most volunteer opportunities are open to adults and children alike.
